When one of the managers of an existing client moved to a new company, they turned to Robust as a reliable and experienced IT partner for continued peace of mind. After our initial assistance in setting up their infrastructure at a temporary office, we have remained as their sturdy support unit at their permanent office location to this day.

As a financial investment company, security and compliance is the principal consideration when architecting their IT solutions. Nevertheless, they are an exciting client for Robust as they want the latest and greatest technology that helps them stay on the leading edge of their industry. Robust is capable of performing most work remotely for this client, only going on-site when necessary.

PROJECTS PERFORMED

The Robust team procured, set up, and maintained the company’s domain name as well as configured and set up cloud Voice of IP (VoIP), cloud file storage, and cloud email. In the temporary office location, we configured the network and workstations. At the permanent office location, internet circuitry options were researched and then ordered and installed. Safe transportation of all infrastructure equipment was then provided to the permanent location. Documents for onboarding and offboarding were created and an Information Security Policy was enacted, supported by continued participation and advisory efforts by Robust in compliance meetings discussing IT oversight. Email archiving as well as Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections were set up for secure remote access, in addition to a fully redundant and virtualized server infrastructure. Finally, Mobile Device Management (MDM) software was implemented and Cisco DUO Multi Factor Authentication introduction.
