Emerging flooring company utilizes Robust for a new office space, prioritizing scalability and paper-free aspirations.

Robust welcomed this client when one of the managers of an existing client started a new company. They began their business journey in a shared office space and decided to contact Robust to serve as their IT provider once they moved into their own office. Through careful collaboration, we built out their IT infrastructure and network with an eye on laying the foundation for future growth. We chose scalable systems and solutions that will grow with the company and that will continue to support their productivity and security needs. One of our favorite projects was to assist with their ambition to go paperless. We researched high-speed scanners for them and collaborated to develop a paperless workflow. Once the office was set up, the Robust team was able to complete most work remotely, only going on-site when necessary.

PROJECTS PERFORMED

Firstly, we facilitated the setup of the client’s new office and established network and wireless infrastructure with Cisco Meraki. Their network was then standardized with policies and documentation generated by Robust. To help achieve this, hard drives were encrypted with Bitlocker and FileVault. Dropbox was utilized for cloud storage and file collaboration. Their systems were updated to Windows 10 Pro for uniformity, with an installation of an RMM tool and antivirus protection software. In addition, full Office 365 licenses were utilized alongside email archiving and advanced anti-spam protection with Proofpoint. An added benefit of the transition from Rackspace to Office 365 was in the form of reduced expenses for the client. Finally, the paperless objective was achieved with the procurement and maintenance of high-speed scanners.
