Robust’s Founders: Bashar Asmar and Salem Zoumot
Bashar Asmar
Bashar Asmar, the founder and CEO of Robust, has 32 years of tech experience under his belt. Bashar has spent that time forming strategic partnerships with leading technology providers, which enables Robust to provide a full portfolio of solutions.
Before founding Robust in 2003 alongside Salem Zoumot, Mr. Asmar was an engineer. His training began at the University of Jordan, where he garnered a bachelor’s degree in Economic Engineering. After, he relocated to the west coast to attend San Francisco State University, where Bashar was awarded his master’s degree in business information computing systems.
Since earning his master’s, Bashar has continued to enrich his knowledge base for the benefit of his customers. He holds several technical certifications along with a variety of business accreditations.
Salem Zoumot
Salem Zoumot has 30 years of experience in the technology field. Mr. Zoumot is in charge of the technical aspects and daily operations of Robust. He has spent years providing consulting and customer service in the tech sector, which culminates at Robust.
Salem also attended San Francisco State where he earned a degree in Business Information Computer Systems. After graduating, he founded Robust with fellow alum, Bashar Asmar.
Salem brings a wealth of experience and training to Robust. In addition to his degree, he has a range of technical certifications that qualify him to provide a variety of solutions to customers.
